Payment Readiness

Payment Readiness is where Providers are set up to be available for payment follow-up. This feature allows you to keep track of your billing accounts and associated invoices. You can specify if the payments should be fully or partially authorized or even held.

Only invoices which have been confirmed either partially or in full will be put into an AP file.

You can:

Note: The availability of the Actions is based on the Status of the Payment.

If no provider has been set for payment, a message displays inviting you to contact Cimpl to make the necessary arrangement. See list of providers compatible with Payment Readiness.

If a provider has been set up for compatibility with Payment tracking but that the mapping of the billing account is not yet completed, a warning message displays. In such cases, please contact Cimpl for a status update on the progress of the mapping.

Account Details

Note: Only accounts which have no errors in Advanced Analysis will be able to be processed through Payment Readiness. Accounts with remaining errors will be ineligible for payment.

Click an entry from the Payment Readiness grid to view the Account Details.

Summary

The summary section of the overview page shows your invoice details, payment details, and latest comments. Once you send an AP file to a client, they'll return a reverse AP file which will automatically populate the Payment details section, so you can see info about each invoice and its corresponding payment all in one place.

Compare your Amounts due and Current charges

You'll also see a detailed grid with the Current Invoice Period and Previous Invoice Period billing information along with the Variance displayed below the amounts (calculated by: Current Invoice amounts - Previous Invoice amounts).

Compare your Amounts due and Current charges in the Payment Readiness Module. You can toggle between Amount Due and Current tabs, so you can easily see a direct comparison of the two in the Variance row.

  1. Go to Payment Readiness

  2. Go to the Charges breakdown.

  3. Toggle between the Amount due and Current tabs.

  4. Check the Variance row for a direct comparison.

Alerts

If your system is configured for Stop Payment Validation, you will receive Stop Payment and Threshold Breach Warning invoice alerts on the Alerts tab.
